CONTOUR, THE SEAM ALLOWANCE IS NOT PROVIDED.
ATTENTION! Before sewing, print paper patterns and lay them out according to the linen width (from 90 to 150
cm) to find out how much material you need (do not forget about double and
symmetric pieces).
WHEN SEWING, BE CAREFUL WITH NOTCHES – THEY MUST BE
MATCHING!
CUTTING:
Fabric:
1. Back – 1
folded piece
2. Pocket – 2 pieces
3. Front – 2 pieces
4. Front facing – 2 pieces
5. Cuff – 2 pieces
6. Back sleeve – 2 pieces
7. Front sleeve – 2 pieces
8. Belt – 1 folded piece
Interfacing:
4. Front facing – 2 pieces
5. Cuff – 2 pieces
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Fold the top
pocket self facing to the right side and stitch it to the side pocket edges. Turn this
and all other allowances to the wrong side according to the pattern. Stitch the
pocket top edge. Topstitch the pocket to the garment
2. Stitch the sleeves to the front/back pieces. Stitch the upper/underarm sleeve seams.
Stitch the side seams. Stitch cuff’s side seams and stitch the cuffs to the sleeves.
3. Clip the seam allowances on the corners of the front pieces diagonally. Stitch the collar centre seam. Stitch the collar to the neckline. Press this seam open. Stitch the front facing centre edges. Stitch the facing to the garment (face to face) stitching along the lower/central edges and the collar. Turn the facing to the wrong side of the dressing gown. Tack and press the collar.
4. Press the hem to the wrong side and stitch in place.
5. Make
up and topstitch the belt.
