ATTENTION
Before sewing, print paper patterns and place them out according to the linen
width (from 90 to 150 cm) to find out how much material you need (do not forget
about double and symmetric pieces).
WHEN SEWING, BE CAREFUL WITH NOTCHES – THEY MUST BE
MATCHING!
CUTTING:
Fabric:
1. Back – 2 pieces
2. Bust pocket – 1 piece
3. Lower pocket – 2 pieces
4. Collar – 2 pieces
5. Back facing- 1 folded piece
6. Front – 2 pieces
8. Sleeve – 2 pieces
Interfacing:
4. Collar – 2 pieces
5. Back facing - 1 folded piece
6. Front integrated facing – 2 pieces
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Apply the interfacing to
the collars, back and front facings.
2. Fold the pocket integrated facing to the right side
and stitch the side edges. Turn it right side out. Press the seam allowances to
the wrong side according to the pocket parten. Edgestitch the top pocket edge.
Topstitch the pocket to the garment.
3. Stitch the side/shoulder/sleeve edges. Press them
open.
4. Join the facings across the shoulder seams. Press
the seams open.
5. Make up and shape the collar.
6. Press the integrated facings to the right
side of the garment front along the
marked center front foldline. Place
the collar between the facing and the neck edge
and stitch it around the neck. Trim the seam allowances, clip the curves.
Turn the
facing to the wrong side, and press.
7. Stitch the sleeves to the garment.
8. Fold the
short/sleeve hems to the wrong side and stitch in place.
9. Make buttonholes in the
right front piece, sew buttons to the left piece.
