ALLOWANCE IS NOT PROVIDED.
SEAM ALLOWANCE:
1 cm for all seams, 3 cm for garment hem.
ATTENTION! Before sewing,
print paper patterns and lay them out according to the linen width (from 90 to
150 cm) to find out how much material you need (do not forget about double and
symmetric details).
WHEN SEWING, BE CAREFUL WITH NOTCHES – THEY MUST BE
COINCIDING!
CUTTING:
Fabric:
1. Side back part – 2 pieces
2. Back yoke – 2 pieces
3. Middle back part – 2 pieces
4. Front yoke – 1 piece
5. Side front part – 2 pieces
6. Center front
part – 1 piece
7. Side back
facing – 2 pieces
8. Side front facing
– 2 pieces
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Stitch front darts, press
them downwards.
2. Press front yoke in twain right side out.
3. Stitch front yoke to center front part. Neaten
joining seam and yoke’s lower edge.
4. Neaten side front part’s facing lower edge. Lay
side front facing on side front part right sides together, and overstitch along
contour leaving facing’s lower/side edges free. Slash allowances in corners and
turn the facing right side out. Press the facing.
5. Stitch side front part to center front part making
notches into relieves’ corners. Neaten relieves, then press them. Topstitch the
side front facing on the yoke/center front part.
6. Press back yoke in twain right side out. Stitch
back yoke to center back part. Neaten the seam joining the joke as well as
yoke’s lower edge.
7. Neaten side back facing’s lower edge. Lay side back
facing’s on side back facing right sides together, then overstitch along the
contour leaving facing’s lower/side edges free. Slash allowances in corners and
turn the facing right side out. Press the facing.
8. Stitch side back part to center back part making
slashes into relieves’ corners. Neaten relieves. Press relieves. Topstitch side
back facing on the yoke and center back part.
9. Neaten front/back parts’ side seams. Stitch dress’s
side seams and press them apart.
10. Neaten middle back edge. Stitch middle seam
between hem and closure’s notch. Press middle back seam, press closure slits.
Stitch
the zipper in.
11. Cut fabric shoulder-straps. Fold the strap along
the center and topstitch at 1 cm from the bending. Turn straps tight side out
and press them. Put the dress on, adjust shoulder-straps’ length and stitch
them.
12. Neaten dress’s hem, fold
it under and topstitch.
