YOU NEED: chiffon; concealed zip; fusing.

SEAM ALLOWANCES: 1 cm for all seams.
ATTENTION! Before sewing, print paper patterns and lay them out according to the linen width (from 90 to 150
cm) to find out how much material you need (do not forget about double and
symmetric details).

CUTTING:
Fabric:
1. Back part – 2 pieces
2. Front part – 2 pieces
3. Diamond – 2 pieces
Lining:
1. Back part – 2 pieces
2. Front part – 2 pieces
Fusing:
Diamond – 1 piece
Our advice:
you can use the fabric as the lining.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Apply the fusing to wrong side of
the diamond.
2.
Make pleats into fabric/lining front parts. Fix pleat ends with a stitch at 0.5
cm from the edge.
3. Stitch reinforced diamond to right front part.
Neaten the seam and press it toward the diamond. Stitch left front part to the
diamond stitching middle seam at the same time. Neaten the seam and press it
toward the diamond. Do the same for lining front part.
4. Neaten
middle back edge. Stitch middle back seam up to closure slit. Press middle back seam apart pressing slit edges. Stitch the
zipper in.
5. Neaten
back middle back edge. Stitch middle back seam up to closure slit. Press middle
seam apart pressing zipper closure slit.
6. Stitch side seams of fabric/lining details. Neaten
seams and press them backward.
7. Cut
fabric rectangle of 5.2x5.2 cm. Fold it along the center wrong side out and
stitch. Turn the detail right side out and press. Fold this loop in twain and
pin it to diamond’s upper edge.
8. Lay fabric/lining details right sides together coinciding back upper
edges. Fold the lining at 5 mm before zipper’s edges and pin to top’s upper
edge. Fold allowances along the zipper into right side and pin them to upper
edge above the lining. Overstitch back part’s upper edges. Fold closure
allowances into wrong side. Fold the lining upward and topstitch on back part
on seam allowance at 1-2 mm from the seam. Fold the lining into wrong side and
fix to zipper braid.
9.
Fix fabric/lining details together along diamond’s edge at 0.5 cm from the
edge.
10. Adjust the hem to that lining was 1.5 cm
shorter than fabric hem. Turn in the hem.
11. Cut a strap. Fold the strap along the center wrong
side out and make a stitch at 0.5 cm from bending. Turn the strap right side
out and press it. Pull the strap through the loop and tie it.
