Fusing:
facings and button catch.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1.
Apply the fusing to wrong side of facings and button catch.
2.
Stitch back darts and press them toward the center.
3. Stitch middle back seam up to the mark, stitch the gusset in, neaten seams and topstitch at 1 mm from edges.
4. Press
pocket’s upper edge into wrong side, fold edge under by 0.5 cm and topstitch at
1 mm from the edge. Press pocket allowances into wrong side and topstitch in on
back skirts at 1 mm.
5. Neaten front skirt’s middle edges, lay them right sides together and stitch middle front seam between fly front and 3-4 cm below.
6. Press one-piece
facing on right skirt into wrong side along middle front edge, press one-piece
left facing at 1 cm from the edge. Press button catch along the center right
side out and neaten open edges. Stitch the zipper under closure left advance:
zipper teeth are close to the bending; button catch lay under with its bending
toward the middle so that neatened edge overlap zipper braid. Pin slit edges
together coinciding middle front lines. Stitch zipper free braid to right
facing; do not catch front skirt. Topstitch front skirt along the closure
catching the facing and folding button catch out. Stop stitching 1.5-2 cm
before middle seam. Fold button catch as before and continue stitching up to
the seam.

Fold middle edge of right front skirt into wrong side and topstitch on left
skirt. Stitch the gusset in, neaten seams and topstitch.
8.
Stitch front facings to back ones along side edges. Press allowances apart.
Neaten lower
edge.
9.
Lay facings on skirt’s upper edge right sides together, and overstitch. Turn
them right side out, fix short edges and topstitch upper edge at 1 mm.
10.
Fold hem allowance into wrong side and topstitch.
11. Make a buttonhole into right front edge, sew a button on the left one.
