HAVE SINGLE CONTOUR, THE SEAM ALLOWANCE IS NOT PROVIDED.
SEAM ALLOWANCE:
1 cm for all seams.
ATTENTION! Before sewing,
print paper patterns and lay them out according to the linen width (from 90 to
150 cm) to find out how much material you need (do not forget about double and
symmetric details).
WHEN SEWING, BE CAREFUL WITH NOTCHES – THEY MUST BE
COINCIDING!
CUTTING:
Fabric:
1. Upper back part – 2 pieces
2. Lower back flounce – 2 pieces
3. Lower front flounce – 1 piece
4. Upper front part – 1 piece
5. Lower front part – 1 piece
6. Lower back part - 2 pieces
7. Belt – 1 piece
8. Back facing – 2 pieces
9. Front facing – 1 piece
10. Strap – 2 pieces
Fusing: front/back facings.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Apply the fusing to wrong
part of front/back facings.
2. Stitch lower front
flounce to lower front part, neaten the seam and press it. Stitch lower back
flounce to lower back part, neaten seam and press it.
3. Stitch front/back parts
side edges together and neaten them. Make a seam witch easy stitches along
lower front part’s upper edge at 0.5 cm distance. Gather detail edge to
necessary size placing pleats along the length.
4. Fold the strap along the center, wrong side out.
Stitch side long edge and one of short edges of strap. Turn the strap right
side out and press it.
5. Neaten front/back
upper parts’ side edges. Stitch front/back upper parts side seams. Press
front/back side seams apart.
6. Lay bodice details on
skirt details right sides together coinciding side seams. Stitch at bodice
side. Neaten the joining seams and press it.
7. Neaten middle back edge.
Stitch middle edge up to closure notch. Press middle edge apart pressing
closure slit. Stitch the zipper in.
8. Stitch facings
side edges and press them apart. Neaten facings outer edge.
9. Pin straps to upper front
part’s edge. Neaten upper front part edge with a facing. Remove pins. Fold facings lower edges under and stitch them to middle seam allowance.
Press the facing into wrong side and topstitch facing outer edge.
10. Neaten garment hem. Press hem allowance into wrong side and
topstitch. Make buttonholes into garment. Sew buttons on straps.
11. Fold the belt along the center right side together and overstitch
along four edges, leaving a hole for turning out. Turn the belt right side out
and press it, sew holes edges together by hand. Fix belt side seams with 6-cm
stitch.
